GALLERY 3: THE BBC AT WORLDCON

The results of the BBC film made the night of the masquerade ball were shown on the TV program TONIGHT the following Monday...interviews with Rory Faulkner, Ted Carnell, the Dietzes and Kyles, John Brunner, John W. Campbell, Jean Bogert, etc. The program was sensible and sympathetic, though humorous in a wacky, fannish way. For instance, the program terminated with Ruth Landis Kyle pulling a zapgun on the interviewer, who disappeared through a neat piece of camera trickery.
